Chemical Engineer (Mathura)

We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer for supervision, testing, and quality control of an ongoing marble cleaning and conservation project at Prem Mandir. The cleaning methodology, chemical formulations, and treatment procedures have already been finalized. The role primarily involves monitoring, testing, and ensuring proper implementation of the approved cleaning system during execution. The selected candidate shall be responsible for testing and verification of chemicals such as Sodium Dithionite, Ammonium Tri Citrate, L-Cysteine, Sepiolite, and other approved materials prior to use. The work shall include supervision of laboratory testing, monitoring of parameters such as pH, ORP, moisture content, reducing strength, solubility, and maintaining quality control records for all batches used in the works. The Chemical Engineer shall also supervise preparation and application of poultices at site, ensure compliance with approved procedures, monitor treatment performance on marble surfaces, and coordinate with site engineers, laboratory personnel, and project management teams. The role further includes preparation of testing reports, quality control documentation, and maintaining records related to chemical usage and application. Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of approved marble cleaning procedures and chemical applications
- Testing and verification of approved chemicals prior to use
- Monitoring of pH, ORP, moisture content, reducing activity, and related parameters
- Supervision of poultice preparation and application at site
- Maintaining quality control records and laboratory documentation
- Coordination with laboratory staff and project execution team
- Monitoring safety procedures during handling and application of chemicals
