The Role:- We’re hiring a designer who understands that design is not decoration. It’s a decision-driver. A great cover sells the book before a parent reads the back. A great ad creative earns the click before the copy is even read. A outstanding layout makes a child want to open page two. We want someone who has the craft fundamentals nailed — color, type, composition, hierarchy — and uses AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, Claude, Figma AI, etc.) to ship 10x more, 10x faster, without compromising on taste. If your design instincts come from Pinterest trends and AI prompts alone, this role isn’t for you. If they come from understanding why a layout works — and you use AI to multiply that judgment — keep reading. What You’ll Do:-
- Design across the full spectrum: book covers, ad creatives (Meta, Google, Amazon, YouTube), packaging, social content, landing pages, pitch decks, and brand campaigns
- Drive creative for both our exam-prep flagship line and our Lil Legends early learning brand — two very different audiences, two very different design languages
- Partner with copy, performance marketing , and category teams to ensure every piece of design has a job to do — and does it
- Use AI tools as a force multiplier — to generate variations, explore directions, accelerate iteration, and push beyond what’s possible by hand alone
- Help raise the design bar across the company by setting standards, building systems, and mentoring others What We’re Looking For:-
- 2–4 years of professional design experience with a portfolio that shows range and judgment
- Strong command of Adobe Suite, Figma , and modern AI design tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, Runway, etc.)
- Deep understanding of design fundamentals — typography, color theory, composition, grid, hierarchy
- Understanding of how design influences buying behavior — you can articulate why a cover sells, why an ad converts, why a layout retains attention
- A clear point of view. You can defend your choices and push back when needed.
- Comfort moving fast without losing craft. Volume and quality, not one or the other. What Will Disqualify You:-
