As an Incoming Quality Inspector in the Textile/Carpet Industry, your role involves performing incoming inspection of various textile raw materials such as yarn, dyed yarn, and packaging in accordance with AQL standards. You will be responsible for verifying material-specific quality checkpoints and making Accept/Reject decisions. Additionally, you will conduct yarn count checking, shade checking, swatch, and continuity card preparation. Basic textile mechanical testing will also be a part of your responsibilities, where you will need to record the results accurately. It is crucial to prepare and maintain incoming inspection reports, records, and reference samples. In case of uncertainty, you will evaluate materials by creating trial/sample products as per reference requirements.Your skills should include a basic knowledge of textile, yarn, and incoming quality inspection. An understanding of the AQL inspection system is essential for this role. Experience in handling tasks like yarn count, shade, and swatch checking is preferred. Strong documentation and reporting skills will also be beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.Qualifications and experience required for this position include a Diploma/ITI/Graduate degree with a preference for Textile specialization. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Incoming QC/Textile Inspection is necessary. Previous experience in the Carpet industry will be advantageous.Please note that the salary for this position will be based on the interview assessment.
