Job Title: Commis Chef-Chinese/Tandoor/Conti/Indian

Reports To: CDP / Sous Chef / Head Chef

Job Summary:

We are looking for passionate and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our culinary team at Pyramid Cafe Lounge & Bar. The role involves assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes under the supervision of the CDP or Sous Chef. Ensure all ingredients and mise-en-place are ready before service. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards consistently. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas according to company and FSSAI standards. Help in receiving and storing food supplies properly. Support senior chefs in maintaining kitchen equipment and ensuring safety compliance. Learn and adapt to new menu items and kitchen techniques. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during rush hours.

Requirements: Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Commis in a restaurant, bar, lounge, or hotel setup. Basic knowledge of Indian, Continental, or Multi-cuisine cooking. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented setting. Versatile to work in different locations and shifts.
