- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular walk-throughs and inspections of sites/offices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and implement effective control measures to minimize accidents.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate any workplace accidents or near-misses, maintain detailed reports, and suggest corrective actions.
- Safety Training: Educate staff and site workers on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and correct usage of protective equipment (PPE).
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate safety logs, incident registers, and ensure alignment with local and national safety laws. Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Safety Officer or in a similar safety/compliance role.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent observation skills, quick decision-making ability, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety protocols effectively.
