- Tube & Pipe Manufacturing Industry (ERW Process) Position: PPC Head Production Planning & Control Location: Bhiwadi Industry: Steel Tube & Pipe Manufacturing Product: CR Tubes, HR Tubes & Pipes (ERW Process) Experience: 10-15 Years Qualification: B.Tech / BE (Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred) Salary Range: 12 LPA 15 LPA Company Profile We are a growing steel manufacturing company engaged in the production of CR (Cold Rolled) and HR (Hot Rolled) Tubes & Pipes through the ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) process at our Bhiwadi Plant. We are looking for an experienced PPC Head from the Steel Tube Manufacturing Industry who can efficiently manage production planning, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and customer delivery commitments. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Control
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per sales orders and customer requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of ERW tube mill capacity and resources.
- Plan production grade-wise, size-wise, thickness-wise, and customer-wise.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
- Monitor actual production versus planned production and control deviations. Material & Inventory Planning
- Ensure availability of HR/CR coils and other raw materials for uninterrupted production.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability. Dispatch & Customer Coordination
- Plan dispatch schedules as per delivery commitments and customer priorities.
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure customer schedules are fulfilled without delay. PPC Monitoring & MIS
- Generate and maintain production MIS reports, dispatch reports, pending order reports, and inventory reports.
- Analyze production efficiency, machine utilization, and bottlenecks.
- Monitor production targets and suggest corrective actions. Process Coordination
- Strong understanding of ERW Tube Manufacturing Process.
- Knowledge of slitting, tube mill operations, welding parameters, sizing, straightening, cutting, bundling, and dispatch planning.
- Coordinate with Quality team to ensure grade compliance and rejection control. Team Management
- Lead and supervise PPC team effectively.
- Coordinate with plant heads and department managers for execution of production schedules.
- Develop systems and discipline for production planning and execution. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ERW Tube & Pipe Manufacturing Process.
- Excellent knowledge of PPC functions in steel tube industry.
- Good understanding of CR & HR material grades and specifications.
- Expertise in production scheduling and dispatch planning.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidate must be from Steel Tube / Pipe Manufacturing Industry only.
- Must have experience in ERW tube production planning and control.
- Engineering background is mandatory.
- Candidate having exposure in CR/HR Tube manufacturing plants will be preferred. Compensation & Perks
