Job Title: Forensic Analyst – L2 Location: Jaipur Company: Tata Communications Experience: 5 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field Certification: CHFI (preferred) Job Description We are looking for an experienced L2 Forensic Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating security incidents, analyzing digital evidence, and supporting incident response and remediation efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead and respond to complex forensic investigations involving security incidents, breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized data access Identify, contain, and analyze incidents while gathering and preserving evidence Perform digital evidence analysis including forensic images, volatile memory, log files, and file systems to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) Utilize forensic tools such as Autopsy, FTK, and EnCase to reconstruct user activity and recover deleted data Create and analyze forensic images while ensuring integrity and chain-of-custody compliance Recover data from compromised or damaged systems using specialized techniques Identify root causes of incidents and provide detailed forensic reports with remediation recommendations Handle escalations from L1 analysts and provide mentorship and technical guidance Ensure all investigations adhere to compliance standards and proper documentation practices Collaborate with cybersecurity, legal, and other teams to support investigations Skills & Competencies 5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or digital forensics role Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Familiarity with file systems such as NTFS, FAT, and EXT Understanding of network protocols and security concepts Hands-on experience with forensic tools like Autopsy, FTK, and EnCase Preferred certifications: CHFI, GCFE (GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow processes and maintain high-quality documentation High level of integrity and qualified ethics Self-motivated with a customer-centric approach Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4lwi9x
