Maintenance Manager (Rajasthan)

Role: Maintenance Manager Location: Bikaner, Rajasthan Experience Required: 5-7 years Compensation: 10-12 LPA Department: Production Industry: FMCG About the Role We are looking for a capable and hands-on Maintenance Manager to manage plant maintenance activities at Bikaji's manufacturing facility in Bikaner. The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of plant machinery, utilities, preventive maintenance, breakdown control, and equipment efficiency. The ideal candidate should have experience in maintenance operations within a food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing setup and should be able to coordinate with production, quality, safety, and utility teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance activities of production machinery and plant equipment.
- Ensure timely preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Reduce machine breakdowns and improve machine uptime.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure proper execution.
- Handle maintenance of food processing equipment, packaging machines, conveyors, boilers, compressors, chillers, HVAC, DG sets, and other utilities.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance work.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spare parts usage, and machine history.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate with stores/procurement for requirements.
- Supervise technicians, electricians, fitters, and maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety, hygiene, and food manufacturing standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy saving, and process improvement.
- Ensure proper documentation related to maintenance activities, audits, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required. Required Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in food processing, FMCG, snacks, bakery, namkeen, packaged food, or manufacturing industries.
- Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience in handling plant utilities and production machinery.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
- Ability to manage maintenance teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Should be comfortable working in a plant workplace.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices, hygiene standards, and maintenance documentation.
