Support Engineer – WiFi & Network Support (Rajasthan)

About the Role Vivekananda Global University (VGU) is seeking a proactive and technically sound Support Engineer – WiFi & Network Support to manage and maintain the campus-wide wireless infrastructure. The role involves ensuring seamless connectivity across academic blocks, hostels, and administrative areas while providing prompt support to students, faculty, and staff. Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot campus-wide WiFi networks and access points Provide L1/L2 support for network-related issues (WiFi connectivity, bandwidth, authentication, etc.) Handle user queries and complaints related to internet access and resolve within defined SLAs Configure and manage wireless devices, controllers, and network switches Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new WiFi infrastructure Maintain logs, documentation, and reports of network performance and incidents Ensure uptime, security, and optimal performance of network services Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field 2–3 years of minimum experience in WiFi/network support Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, switching Hands-on experience with wireless technologies and access points Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques Basic knowledge of firewalls and network security practices Preferred Skills (Positive to Have) Experience with enterprise WiFi solutions Experience in campus or large-scale network environments Drop cv at Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4mmwwg
