Linux Administrator Ahmedabad , India We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator / System Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the company s server infrastructure, network systems, and IT operations. The candidate will be responsible for Linux server administration, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems. Monitor server performance, security, and system health. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control. Perform system troubleshooting, backup, and recovery operations. Configure and maintain network services, firewalls, and storage systems. Support software installation, updates, and patch management. Maintain server documentation and IT records. Coordinate with development and technical teams for system support. Ensure system security and data protection practices are followed. Handle hardware and network-related troubleshooting when required. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.). Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management. Experience with shell scripting and basic automation. Knowledge of server monitoring and system security. Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms is an advantage. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
