Engineer/Senior Engineer - Mechanical (Rajasthan)

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Plant Maintenance team in a chemical manufacturing setup. The role involves ensuring smooth and reliable operation of plant mechanical systems, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and effective production processes. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in chemical/process industries involving Sulphuric Acid, Sulfamic Acid, Chloro Sulphonic Acid, and Sodium Metabisulphite and a solid understanding of plant equipment maintenance and reliability practices. Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, heat exchangers, reactors, boilers, and pipelines
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure maximum plant uptime
- Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective maintenance
- Coordinate with production and other departments for smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements
- Support shutdown planning and execution activities
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and equipment history
- Assist in improving reliability, efficiency, and maintenance practices Key Requirements
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- 515 years of experience in chemical / process industry
- Strong knowledge of plant maintenance and mechanical equipment
- Experience in rotating and static equipment maintenance
- Good understanding of plant safety practices and SOPs
- Ability to work in shift-based plant environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Profile
- Experience in chemical / continuous process plants
- Exposure to boilers, utilities, and pressure systems
- Knowledge of shutdown and maintenance planning
- Familiarity with maintenance systems (SAP PM or similar) is an added advantage
