Core Responsibilities Tuition & Fee Management

: Collect and record student fee payments. Issue receipts and track outstanding tuition balances. Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Deliver reports to the principal, school board, or bursar. Budget Tracking: Collaborate with school leaders to draft annual operating budgets. Monitor departmental spending against the approved budget. Accounts Payable & Receivable

: Process vendor invoices for school supplies and equipment. Reconcile bank statements monthly. Payroll Processing: Calculate and distribute monthly salaries for teachers and administrative staff. Manage statutory advantages like Provident Fund or tax deductions. Audit & Compliance

: Maintain organized records for internal and statutory audits. Ensure compliance with local educational board financial regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Key Requirements & Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Finance, or Accounting. Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Prior experience working within an educational institution is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks. Solid mastery of MS Excel for spreadsheet management. Soft Skills: High attention to detail, solid data organization, and clear communication skills for dealing with parents and vendors
