Plant Operator (Cherthala)

Seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Plant Operator to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the efficient functioning of air conditioning systems in our plant. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of the facility's occupants while maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the performance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all refrigeration equipments and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions related to air conditioning units.
- Ensure that all equipments operates according to safety standards, guidelines, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and performance reports.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls regarding refrigeration systems and ensure quick resolution.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in other maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant areas and equipment. Qualifications:
- ITI Diploma in Ammonia Refrigeration or equivalent (required).
- Proven experience as an AC Plant Operator
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration equipments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations regarding refrigeration systems. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00
