Role & Responsibilities The Faculty for B.Pharma and M.Pharma programs will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, practical training, academic mentoring, research guidance, and departmental responsibilities as per university norms. The role includes classroom teaching, laboratory supervision, student evaluation, curriculum implementation, research activities, and contribution to the academic development of the institution. Key Responsibilities 1. Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for Pharmacy students as per the syllabus and academic calendar. 2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, lecture notes, presentations, and practical manuals. 3. Ensure effective coverage of assigned subjects in accordance with university and institutional guidelines. 4. Use up-to-date teaching methods to enhance student understanding and engagement. 5. Guide students in experiments, project work, and research activities. 6. Maintain laboratory discipline, safety, and compliance standards. 7. Mentor and counsel students regarding academic progress, attendance, discipline, and career development. 8. Support students in seminars, presentations, industrial training, internships, and project work. 9. Encourage participation in academic, co-curricular, and research-related activities. 10. Prepare question papers, assignments, sessional tests, internal assessments, and practical evaluations. 11. Maintain academic records, attendance records, internal marks, and performance reports accurately. 12. Promote research culture among students and contribute to institutional research goals. 13. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, admissions, examination duties, and institutional events. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification : Minimum M.Pharma from a recognized University ( For Assistant Professor)
- A Ph.D. is mandatory for an associate professor & Professor.
- As per university norms, a minimum of 8 years of teaching experience is required for an Associate Professor and 10 years for the post of Professor respectively.
- Candidates must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) Preferred candidate profile Experience
- Freshers (M.Pharma) with a strong academic background may be considered for Assistant Professor.
- Relevant teaching, research, laboratory, or industry experience will be preferred.
- Experience in guiding projects, handling practical, research publications, and academic administration will be an added advantage. Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Effective teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to handle theory and practical classes efficiently.
- Good mentoring, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, documentation, and academic compliance.
