Business Development Executive (Vrindavan)

We're looking for a Business Development Executive to help us build it from the ground up. ???? Location: Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh ???? Experience: 5–6 years ???? Industry: Music / Media / Entertainment What you'll be doing:
- Identify, approach, and onboard regional artists, independent music labels, and content creators across Vrindavan, Mathura, and the wider Braj belt
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with Artists, local production houses, studio owners, music publishers
- Drive distribution and licensing conversations for music content aligned with GMJ's catalogue goals
- Scout emerging talent in the region and work closely with the A&R; and content teams to bring them into the GMJ ecosystem
- Negotiate and close partnership deals
- from content acquisition to co-production and sync opportunities
- Maintain a healthy business pipeline and report progress, forecasts, and insights regularly to the leadership team
- Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to create region-specific campaigns and activations
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and audience preferences in the regional devotional and folk music space What we're looking for:
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in business development, partnerships, or sales
- preferably in music, media, entertainment, or the broader creative industry. Proficiency in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify and seize growth opportunities
- Proven ability to close deals and meet revenue targets without hand-holding
- you own your numbers
- Comfortable being the first person on the ground for a new office; who creates opportunities, not just follows them
- Robust negotiation and relationship-building skills
- you know when to push and when to listen
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally and attend events, festivals, and on-ground activations regularly
- A genuine passion for Indian regional music and cultural storytelling
