We are currently seeking a Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance support to the team at our Bethanie Joondanna Aged Care Home Retirement Village.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be providing our site and tenants with maintenance services within their homes at the Bethanie on the Park. This rewarding position will fulfill your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service and giving something back to the community.

This role is offered on a Full time basis, 38 hours per week.

The total renumeration for this position is: $36.74 per hour, plus super.

You will have access to Bethanie tools and materials.

About You

Trade or maintenance background within the construction industry

Experience in general maintenance and light construction duties (or equivalent)

Own a current and valid driver’s licence.

Time management and organisational skills necessary for performance at the required standard.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Ability to identify workplace safety and operate in a protected manner.

A genuine interest in working with and supporting older people.

Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one.
