The role:

Our client is seeking a proactive, adaptable and hands-on Line Leader to join their team on Day Shift. Reporting to the Production Packing Supervisor, the Line Leader's role is to take responsibility for all aspects of the assigned line so that people, materials, time and equipment are used effectively and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Supervisor, manage all aspects of production in Packing Hall, utilising people, equipment and materials to meet or exceed the production plan as efficiently as possible, with minimal wastage of resources

Support the Supervisor by supervising and training staff

Be actively involved in the development of staff to create a cohesive and highly skilled team through effective training, mentoring, coaching and communication

Take responsibility for yours and the team's safety and ensure that all products adhere to required quality standards

Maintain a clean and organised area and contribute suggestions for improvement

Coordinate timely and accurate delivery and return of packaging materials between Packing Hall and the warehouse

Key Requirements:

Experience in leading a team

Be a quick learner and have the ability to multitask

Proven track record with leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives

Possess high attention to detail

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop robust working relationships right across the business

Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and OH&S; requirements

Tertiary qualification in Business/Science/Engineering/Pharmacy desired
