Objective:

Manage the day to day production planning and accurate updating of the SAP system. The goal is to constantly meet customer's required delivery of goods, ensuring customer orders are appropriately planned and scoped with resources scheduled for optimal utilisation as well as the ability to complete financial reconciliation against estimates for projects and works completed.

Day to Day:

Ensure manufacturing resources are effectively utilised

Manage lead times, urgent requirements including demand control and allocation

Analysis of production capacity, sales forecasts and able to highlight challenges and assist in improvements to increase throughput

Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Production, Maintenance and Customers to ensure transparency and visibility throughout the planning process

Ensure DIFOT and KPI's are ment

Monitor MRP to assist smooth production in accordance with the production schedule

Lead, train and monitor team members

Provide Subject Matter Expert advice in the day to day management of production schedule

Prepare weekly summary report to capture performance and material availability etc

To be successful, you must have:

5+ years experience managing a production planning team within a food/pharmaceutical workplace or closely related industry.

Excellent proficiency of Excel and ERP systems, SAP experience is highly advantageous

Understanding of GMP and TGA Guidelines

Customer-centric and focussed, committed to providing the best customer experience through excellent production planning execution
