Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Theni, Tamil Nadu Company: JUST DOORS (JD INTERIOR SOLUTIONS) Contact No: +91 8528525002 Salary Range: ₹16,000–₹19,000 per month Department: Execution / Site Operations Job Summary: The Site Engineer – UPVC Doors & Windows is responsible for complete site execution, measurement verification, installation supervision, and client coordination related to UPVC doors and window projects. The candidate should have practical experience in UPVC fabrication, installation methods, hardware fittings, alignment, waterproofing, and finishing standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Measurement & Verification
- Take accurate site measurements for UPVC doors and windows.
- Verify opening sizes, levels, beam alignment, and finishing conditions before production.
- Coordinate with factory and production team regarding measurement details and modifications. Installation Supervision
- Supervise installation of:
- UPVC Sliding Windows
- Casement Windows
- Sliding Doors
- Openable Doors
- Ventilators
- Fixed Glass Systems
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, smooth operation, and locking system functionality.
- Monitor foam filling, silicon finishing, waterproofing, and frame fixing standards. Hardware & Accessories Knowledge
- Check and supervise installation of:
- Locks
- Handles
- Rollers
- Hinges
- Mesh systems
- Glass beading
- Rubber gaskets
- Ensure proper functioning of all hardware accessories. Site Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Clients
- Architects
- Interior designers
- Civil contractors
- Installation technicians
- Factory team
- Plan installation schedules according to site readiness. Quality Control
- Inspect profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories before installation.
- Ensure no scratches, leakage issues, gaps, misalignment, or fitting defects.
- Maintain company quality and safety standards. Project Monitoring
- Track daily installation progress.
- Ensure timely completion of projects.
- Submit daily site reports with photos and work updates. Material Management
- Verify inward and outward materials at site.
- Ensure proper handling of UPVC profiles, glass, and accessories.
- Prevent damages, breakage, and material wastage. Problem Solving
- Handle site execution issues and customer concerns immediately.
- Coordinate rectification works when required. Documentation & Reporting Maintain:
- Site measurement sheets
- Installation checklists
- Material records
- Daily progress reports
- Completion reports
- Client approval documents Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in UPVC doors and window systems
- Experience in site measurement and installation supervision
- Knowledge of UPVC hardware and accessories
- Understanding of waterproofing and finishing methods
- Ability to read drawings and technical measurements
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Team handling and problem-solving ability Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / BE Civil / Mechanical / Interior related field
- Experience in UPVC industry preferred Experience Required
