Registered Nurse (Aluva)

Reports To: Nursing Superintendent Location: Angamaly Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with established medical and nursing protocols. The RN collaborates with doctors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure effective patient care, safety, and overall satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and promptly report changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist in diagnostic procedures, post-operative care, and rehabilitation activities.
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure strict infection control practices and maintain hygiene standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and critical care situations.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff as needed. Experience RequirementsOperation Theatre (OT) Experience
- Assisting surgeons during procedures
- Preparing and maintaining OT equipment and sterile fields
- Ensuring adherence to OT protocols and safety standards
- Providing pre-operative and post-operative nursing care Emergency Department Experience
- Managing acute and critical cases
- Performing rapid assessment and immediate interventions
- Handling trauma, cardiac, and other emergency cases
- Coordinating with doctors and emergency response teams Qualifications & Skills
- Education: BSc Nursing / GNM
- Experience: 1–5 years
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, or Neonatal Resuscitation (as applicable)
- Skills: Patient care, emergency response, medical equipment handling, teamwork, communication
- Mandatory Requirement: Must have experience in Operation Theatre (OT) and Emergency Department Job Type: Full time Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month Education:
