Fashion Designer (Aluva)

Job Title: Fashion Designer Department: Design Location: Aluva ,Kochi Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing innovative clothing collections, understanding current fashion trends, and supporting the product development process from concept to final production. Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles
- Develop original design concepts, sketches, and mood boards
- Assist in the creation of seasonal collections
- Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments
- Coordinate with production and merchandising teams
- Ensure designs align with brand identity and target audience
- Prepare design presentations and technical specifications
- Monitor quality and fit during sample development
- Make necessary design modifications based on feedback Required Skills:
- Robust creativity and sense of style
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and textiles
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar)
- Good sketching and illustration skills
- Understanding of current fashion trends and market demands
- Attention to detail and color coordination
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience in ethnic or western wear (based on company focus)
- Knowledge of pattern making and draping
- Exposure to fashion shows or design exhibitions Working Conditions:
- Full-time role
- May require occasional overtime during collection launches or deadlines Reporting To:
- Senior Fashion Designer / Design Head Pay: ₹15,000.00
