Infection Control Nurse Aluva

Maintaining records and statics regarding IC activities and maintenance HAI incident record. Checking by inspection that infection control and prescribed disinfects procedures and being carried out in accordance with hospital policy. Develop and implement strategies to reduce infection rates. Checking of House-keeping activities like the use of personal protective equipment usage of proper disinfect moping plan and biomedical waste management. Training of infection related topics to all category staff. Conduct Infection Control Audit include hand wash audit, biomedical waste management audit, laundry audit etc. Liaison between laboratory and ward staff informing head of department and giving advice on infection control problems. Notification of communicable diseases and other notifiable disease. Work as a clinical supervisor by ensuring all the established policies and protocols are practiced like hand washing procedures, use of hand rubs, isolation policies, care of IV and muscular access, urinary catheters, universal precautions, House-keeping, cleaning and disinfection, PPE, equipment cleaning etc. Immediate attention in needle sticks injury and post exposure prophylaxis.

Qualification : GNM/B.Sc Nursing & ICN Certification

Experience : Minimum 1 year as ICN or Staff Nurse with minimum 5 years experience

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
