Bbs Engineer Aluva

Minimum 2 year experience Prepare detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) from structural drawings. Calculate reinforcement quantities for slabs, beams, columns, footings, staircases, retaining walls, etc. Verify reinforcement detailing as per approved drawings and structural design requirements. Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and steel fabrication teams. Optimize steel cutting lengths to minimize wastage. Prepare steel reconciliation statements and monitor consumption. Maintain records of issued steel, balance stock, and wastage. Check reinforcement fixing at site before concreting. Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and safety standards. Assist billing and quantity surveying teams for steel-related measurements. Update revisions in drawings and modify BBS accordingly. Prepare daily/weekly steel consumption and progress reports.
