Store Manager – Hospital (Kotputli)

### **Job Title: Store Manager – Hospital** **Location:** Kotputli **Department:** Stores / Supply Chain **Reporting To:** Admin Manager / Operations Head --- ### **Job Summary:** The Store Manager is responsible for managing the hospital’s inventory, coordinating procurement, and overseeing the storage and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies. The role ensures the uninterrupted availability of materials while maintaining compliance, cost control, and proper documentation. --- ### **Key Responsibilities:** **1. Inventory Management**
* Maintain optimal stock levels of medicines, consumables, surgical items, and general supplies
* Monitor stock movement (inward/outward) and prevent stock-outs or overstocking
* Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits **2. Procurement Coordination**
* Coordinate with procurement team/vendors for timely purchase of materials
* Raise purchase requisitions based on consumption patterns and minimum stock levels
* Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery **3. Store Operations**
* Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, safety) for all items
* Maintain FIFO/FEFO (First Expiry First Out) for medicines and consumables
* Handle receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials **4. Documentation & Compliance**
* Maintain accurate records of stock, invoices, GRNs, and issue registers
* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and statutory requirements
* Prepare reports on stock status, consumption, and variance **5. Distribution & Coordination**
* Ensure timely supply of materials to various departments (OT, ICU, wards, labs, etc.)
* Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, and other departments for requirements **6. Cost Control**
* Monitor usage trends and suggest cost optimization measures
* Minimize wastage, expiry losses, and pilferage **7. Team Management**
* Supervise store assistants and support staff
* Allocate duties and ensure smooth store operations --- ### **Qualifications:**
* Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / B.Sc preferred)
* Diploma/Certification in Material Management or Supply Chain (preferred) --- ### **Experience:**
* 2–8 years of experience in hospital stores or healthcare supply chain
