Tech Support Executive Field Engineers/fms Engineer Alwarpet

Key Responsibilities Provide Onsite / Field support for Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Servers and Network devices under AMC. Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, etc.). Handle break-fix support and component replacement. Coordinate with vendors for warranty and spare part management. Maintain AMC asset inventory and service records. Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) is carried out as per schedule. Support basic network troubleshooting (LAN, connectivity issues). Install and troubleshoot OS (Windows/Linux) and standard applications. Maintain proper documentation and service reports after each visit. Adhere to defined SLA and TAT for issue resolution. Provide user support and basic IT guidance to end-users.

Skills & Requirements Robust knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with Windows OS installation, drivers, and configuration. Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, LAN, DHCP). Experience with printers and scanners troubleshooting. Ability to handle fieldwork and multiple client locations. Valuable communication and customer handling skills. Knowledge of AMC process, SLA compliance, and ticketing tools is preferred. Two wheeler Must and valid license.
