Lab Technician (Lalru)

Job Title: Lab Technician (Blood Sampling & X-Ray) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician responsible for collecting blood samples and performing X-ray procedures. The candidate should ensure accurate diagnostic support while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples using proper venipuncture techniques
- Label and handle specimens accurately for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests or assist senior lab staff as required
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain protective measures
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work areas
- Record and manage patient data and test results
- Coordinate with doctors and other medical staff for timely reporting Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Radiology
- Proven experience in blood sample collection and X-ray procedures
- Knowledge of lab safety standards and infection control practices
- Ability to handle medical equipment responsibly
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in phlebotomy or radiology
- Prior experience in a diagnostic lab or hospital setting Working Conditions:
- May require shift work, including weekends
