Electrical Design Engineer (Thane)

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design electrical control systems, circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and layouts for textile machineries using CAD software
- Perform electrical analysis, including circuit design, power distribution, load analysis and fault detection to ensure the efficiency and safety of systems
- Ensure proper integration of electrical components with mechanical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, HMI in textile machinery
- Develop prototypes and conduct testing of electrical systems to ensure performance, reliability and compliance with safety standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, specifications and electrical drawings
- Optimize designs for cost, performance and reliability
- Standardize electrical designs across product lines
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during the manufacturing and installation phases
- Assist in project planning and managing the execution of electrical design projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to
- Work closely with purchase, production, manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs
- Coordinate with the R&D; team to develop new technology and integrate it into machine designs
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in textile machinery and incorporate them into designs Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering
- A Master's degree or additional certifications is a plus
- Proven experience of 3-4+ years in electrical design and development, preferably in textile machinery or similar manufacturing industries
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls and power distribution
- Understanding of industrial control systems and automation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
