Business Development Manager Location: Thane Reporting To: Head – Business Development / Management Industry :- Transformer / Electrical Equipments / Hevy Equipments / Switchgear Qualification:
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- MBA in Marketing / International Business will be an added advantage Experience:
- 12–15 years of experience in Business Development / Sales in the Transformer or Electrical Equipment Industry Key Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Power & Distribution Transformers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- Ability to understand technical specifications and commercial requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities with utilities, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial clients
- Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order finalization
- Prepare and review techno-commercial offers and participate in tenders/RFQs
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth project execution and timely delivery
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and prepare sales reports/MIS
- Build strong customer relationships and support business growth initiatives Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of transformer specifications, IS/IEC standards, losses, impedance, and protection schemes
