Job Title: Housekeeping Manager Department: Housekeeping Industry: Hotel / Hospitality Location: Thane-Dombivali link road Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager from the hotel industry to oversee and manage all housekeeping operations. The role involves ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
· Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the property.
· Plan and allocate duties to housekeeping staff, including room attendants, supervisors, and cleaners.
· Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
· Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, uniforms, and equipment.
· Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely procurement of housekeeping materials.
· Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a prompt and professional manner.
· Maintain linen control, laundry operations, and housekeeping budgets.
· Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards as per hotel policies.
· Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff performance.
· Prepare housekeeping reports, occupancy reports, and maintenance logs.
· Coordinate with Maintenance and Front Office departments for smooth operations.
· Ensure compliance with SOPs, audits, and quality standards. Qualifications & Experience:
· Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
· Minimum 5–8 years of experience in housekeeping operations within the hotel industry.
· Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Solid knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and inventory control.
· Experience in handling team management and guest service operations. Skills Required:
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
· Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Pay: ₹60,000.00
- ₹65,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
