Position: Mechanical Quality Engineer Experience: 1 TO 2 years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Location: Ambernath. Key Responsibilities Carry out in-process and final inspection of mechanical components, assemblies, and products. Perform incoming material inspection as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documents (QAP, MTC, NCR, CAPA). Ensure compliance with ISO / ASME / customer-specific quality standards. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for rejections and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Work with production and design teams to resolve quality issues. Handle measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, CMM, Surface Roughness Tester. Support client/third-party inspections and audits. Monitor and ensure adherence to process quality control (PQC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepare reports on quality performance, rejections, and customer complaints. Required Skills Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and tolerances. 1-3 years of hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and equipment. Familiarity with NDT methods (preferred but not mandatory). Basic understanding of welding, machining, and fabrication processes. Robust analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Key Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy. Problem-solving ability. Team player with proactive attitude.
