A. Position Overview The Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of application architecture principles and best practices, with experience in cloud-based technologies for migration and integration, query optimization, maintenance of Databases.B. Key Result Areas Implement and Optimize Operational data Maintain Master Data ManagementPrepare and Organize for Big Data Integral Part of BI initiatives Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views Define and implement database schemas and normalization Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL Review and interpret ongoing business report requirementsDevelop procedures and scripts for data migration Provide data management support to users Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Prepare documentations and specifications for database design, coding, and testing Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity Resolve database-related issues and provide solutions in a timely mannerStay updated with recent technological advancements and industry trends in database development Complex query understanding Follows all required company policies and practices relating to the System Development Life Cycle.
