Production Engineer Ambernath

Job Purpose:

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure smooth production operations. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring workplace safety within the production area.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets and schedules. Ensure manufacturing processes are carried out as per company standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures. Coordinate with supervisors, operators, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth production flow. Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing costs. Monitor machine performance, production output, and material utilization. Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization of production equipment and machinery. Prepare and maintain production reports, process records, and documentation. Implement lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost reduction initiatives. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the shop floor. Support training and guidance for production staff regarding processes, quality standards, and safety practices. Coordinate with the maintenance department for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities. Participate in new product development, process validation, and production trials. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials. Maintain discipline, teamwork, and effective communication within the production department.
