Senior Manager - Instrumentation (Ambikapur)

- Ensure reliable operation of all Instrumentation & Control (I&C;) systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instruments, and analyzers.
- Oversee calibration, loop checking, and commissioning of transmitters (pressure, temperature, flow, level), control valves, switches, and analyzers.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and associated HMI systems.
- Monitor and optimize control loops, tuning PID controllers for secure and efficient plant operation.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in field instrumentation, signal transmission (4–20 mA, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus), and control networks..
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for instrumentation failures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper functioning and testing of safety interlocks, trips, and shutdown systems (ESD/SIS).
- Manage instrument air systems, analyzers (gas, water chemistry), and emission monitoring systems (CEMS).
- Supervise cable laying, gland termination, earthing, and panel wiring for instrumentation systems.
- Review and approve P&IDs;, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, hook-up drawings, and instrument datasheets.
- Handle system backups, software configuration, and version control for DCS/PLC systems.
- Support commissioning and startup activities, including I/O checks, logic validation, and performance testing.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of flow measurement systems (DP, ultrasonic, magnetic, turbine meters).
- Maintain and troubleshoot control valves, actuators, positioners, and valve diagnostics systems.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (SIL, IEC 61508/61511) in safety instrumented systems.
- Optimize boiler, turbine, and auxiliary control systems for efficiency and stability.
