Assistant Manager - QMS (Vitthalapur)

Key Responsibilities Ensure implementation and adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) across production. Monitor incoming, inprocess, and final quality inspection of electronic products. Conduct PCB assembly quality checks including soldering, reflow, and visual inspection. Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure compliance with ISO / industry quality standards and internal SOPs. Coordinate with Production, PPC, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Analyze defects, rejection trends, and prepare quality reports and dashboards. Conduct internal audits and support external audits. Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection records, and test reports. Train operators and technicians on quality standards and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve yield. Required Skills & Qualifications B.E. / Diploma in Electronics or related technical field. Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Quality / QMC / QC in electronics manufacturing. Solid knowledge of PCB assembly, electronic components, soldering, and reflow processes. Experience with quality tools (7 QC tools, RCA, CAPA, FMEA preferred). Familiar with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test jigs. Working knowledge of ISO systems and quality documentation. Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to handle shopfloor quality challenges independently.
