Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant (Amritsar)

Role Summary As a Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant / Business Analyst, you will lead end-to-end NetSuite delivery by understanding client business needs, translating requirements into scalable solutions, and guiding stakeholders through design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support. This role aligns with NetSuite Partner delivery standards and requires strong functional expertise, structured business analysis, confident client-facing communication, and cross-functional coordination. You will also contribute to internal enablement through reusable assets (case studies, playbooks, documentation) and mentor junior consultants to raise delivery quality. Location: Hybrid / Remote Key Responsibilities NetSuite Functional Consulting (Delivery Ownership)
- Act as a senior functional consultant across core NetSuite modules including Financials (GL, AP, AR), Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, Reporting, FAM, ARM, Advance Manufacturing, SCM, and WMS.
- Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture requirements, pain points, and target operating processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional solution designs, configuration workbooks, system process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Configure NetSuite functionality in line with approved designs, best practices, and governance.
- Own functional scope clarity: identify out-of-scope requests, propose trade-offs, and support change-control decisions.
- Support system testing, SIT/UAT cycles, defect triage, go-live readiness, and hypercare.
- Provide functional support and continuous improvement recommendations during managed services engagements. Business Analysis & Documentation (Structured & Reusable)
- Conduct structured requirement elicitation with finance, operations, supply chain, and executive stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- To-be process maps, gap analysis, and solution walkthroughs
- UAT scenarios, test scripts, and training material
- Ensure traceability from requirements through configuration, testing, and sign-off.
- Identify gaps between standard NetSuite functionality and client needs, recommending scalable and maintainable solutions. Client & Stakeholder Management (Senior Presence)
- Serve as a client-facing senior consultant on assigned accounts and build trusted-advisor relationships.
- Facilitate functional discussions, design walkthroughs, and solution demos with clarity and confidence.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and functional decisions in a structured and timely manner.
- Provide crisp status updates and support project managers with input for delivery planning and stakeholder alignment. Internal Collaboration, Quality & Mentorship
- Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and integration teams to ensure functional designs are technically viable and aligned to business outcomes.
- Review and validate technical solutions from a functional and business perspective.
- Mentor junior consultants through functional guidance, reviews, shadowing, and best-practice coaching.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery templates, accelerators, and standards. Knowledge Assets & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to client case studies, success stories, and solution summaries.
- Assist in writing technical and functional blogs focused on NetSuite modules, best practices, automation, and industry use cases.
- Build reusable internal assets (checklists, playbooks, discovery questionnaires, UAT templates). AI-Driven Productivity & Modern Consulting
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity in analysis, documentation, communication, and research.
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Notion AI, Copilot, or similar platforms to accelerate delivery and content creation.
- Continuously explore and adopt AI-assisted workflows aligned with up-to-date NetSuite consulting practices. Required Qualifications & Experience Experience
- 5–7 years of experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant, NetSuite Business Analyst
- Experience working in a NetSuite Partner or NetSuite ERP consulting environment preferred.
- Hands-on involvement in NetSuite implementations, enhancements, or post-go-live support engagements.
- Exposure to international clients (US, UK, Canada, Australia) is highly desirable. Functional & Domain Expertise
- Strong understanding of NetSuite core modules and ERP business processes.
- Solid accounting and finance fundamentals (period close, reporting, controls, audit readiness).
- Ability to apply NetSuite best practices rather than purely custom-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with SuiteSuccess concepts and phased implementation approaches. Communication & Professional Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong consulting presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for deliverables.

- Hands-on experience using AI tools for productivity and knowledge creation. Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- NetSuite Functional Certification(s).
- Industry experience in Retail, Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing, or Financial Services.
- Conceptual understanding of integrations and NetSuite customization (SuiteScript awareness).
