Marketing, Fundraising, and Admissions Director (Amritsar)

PURPOSE The Marketing, Fundraising, and Admissions Director is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic growth, enrollment, and long-term financial sustainability of Miri Piri Academy across all its operational branches. The Director oversees a diverse portfolio that includes our core International Boarding School, our growing Day School program, and our specialized Adult Continuing Education courses. Additionally, the Director is responsible for marketing and leveraging Dashmesh Sadan, our premier spiritual retreat property. By supervising the Front Office & Admissions Manager, the Director ensures operational excellence across all front-facing student, parent, donor, and retreat guest relationships worldwide. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMulti-Channel Marketing & Institutional Branding ● Diverse Program Promotion: Plan and execute distinct marketing campaigns tailored to three different target audiences: ○ Boarding School: Attracting international and domestic residential students. ○ Day School: Building local community engagement and student enrollment. ○ Adult Education: Recruiting global practitioners for intensive spiritual and music courses. ● Retreat Property Marketing: Develop and implement branding and outreach strategies to promote Dashmesh Sadan as a world-class venue for spiritual retreats, yoga programs, and community gatherings. ● Content & Media Management: Oversee the creation of high-impact promotional assets, including digital media, website updates, video content, and targeted social media campaigns that accurately reflect campus and retreat life. Fundraising, Development & Alumni Relations ● Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: Design, launch, and manage strategic fundraising campaigns, annual giving initiatives, and major donor programs to secure grants, endowments, and development funding. ● Capital & Scholarship Campaigns: Identify funding priorities to secure donations for infrastructure developments (across the main campus and Dashmesh Sadan) as well as student scholarships. ● Alumni & Community Networks: Re-engage global alumni networks, donor circles, and international partners, building long-term institutional relationships that translate into sustainable financial support. Strategic Admissions & Team Leadership ● Funnel Oversight: Set strategic enrollment targets and optimize the admissions pipelines for the boarding school, day school, and adult courses from lead generation to final enrollment/registration. ● Team Supervision: Directly manage and mentor the Front Office, Admissions, and Outreach Manager, ensuring they maintain rapid 24-hour responsiveness, flawless lead tracking, and seamless travel/visa logistics. ● Data Analytics: Periodically analyze inquiry trends, enrollment conversions, and campaign analytics to refine recruitment strategies and report directly to the Head of School and Board. Community and School Integration ● Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Align marketing and fundraising initiatives closely with Academic and Residential Life schedules to capture authentic campus life. ● Camp & Event Presence: Participate in major school events and select student trips (e.g., Induction Camp, Winter Humanology Camp) to document experiences, host visiting donors, or support global family interactions. ● Spiritual Alignment: Actively engage in the community's spiritual development practices, embodying the values, discipline, and Kundalini Yoga traditions that define the MPA and Dashmesh Sadan experience. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ● Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, or a related field. ● Experience: 5 years of proven leadership experience in international student recruitment, educational marketing, and/or non-profit fundraising. Experience balancing diverse offerings (such as day/boarding schools or hospitality/retreat spaces) is a massive asset. ● Leadership & Management: Exceptional team management skills with a track record of supervising admissions, sales, or public relations personnel. ● Fundraising Track Record: Demonstrated experience in setting up donation pipelines, running successful crowdfunding campaigns, or closing major corporate/individual gifts. ● Communication Master: Superb written and verbal communication skills; a natural storyteller capable of movingly communicating MPA's spiritual philosophy to diverse global audiences. ● Tech-Savvy: High proficiency in up-to-date CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), digital marketing analytics, and giving platforms. ● Cultural Alignment: Deep resonance with, or strong knowledge of, the values, lifestyle, and Kundalini Yoga traditions of Miri Piri Academy and Dashmesh Sadan.
