Accounts Payable (Amritsar)

Accounts Payable (AP) Associate Location: India (Remote) Department: Finance & Accounting

Role Overview The AP Associate will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing payment runs, and maintaining accurate accounts payable records. This role is essential to ensuring Napster's vendors and partners are paid accurately and on time, supporting the company's strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness in the ERP system
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching)
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and process weekly/bi-weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks)
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure proper documentation is on file
- Reconcile vendor statements and AP aging reports on a regular basis
- Assist with month-end close activities including AP accruals and expense reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function
- Coordinate with internal teams (Procurement, Legal, Operations) for invoice approvals

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with TDS deductions and GST compliance for vendor payments in India
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Robust communication skills and ability to manage vendor relationships professionally
- Experience in a global or US-based company environment is preferred
