Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced R&D; Engineer – EV to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and developing electric vehicle systems tailored for road sweeping applications. Your role will be critical in driving innovation, efficiency, and performance in our upcoming EV product lines. Key Responsibilities: *Lead the design and development of EV systems for road sweeping machines.
* Research and implement EV powertrain, battery, motor control, and energy management technologies. *Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate EV systems into our products. *Design prototypes and conduct testing to validate performance, safety, and durability. *Evaluate and select components (motors, batteries, controllers, etc.) based on performance, cost, and reliability. *Stay updated with the latest EV trends, regulations, and technologies. *Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and optimizing EV systems. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & communication or Automotive Engineering. 3–8 years of experience in R&D;, preferably in electric vehicles or automotive sector. Strong knowledge of EV architecture, batteries, motors, and BMS (Battery Management Systems). Solid experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) and simulation software. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, control systems, and embedded systems is a plus. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Passion for innovation and sustainability in mobility solutions. Preferred Skills Experience in EV conversion or design of electric utility vehicles. Familiarity with Indian automotive regulations and homologation processes. Exposure to CAN communication, diagnostics, and software integration.
