We’re Hiring | Legal Associate Intern Location: Remote – India Company: (US-Based Law Firm) Schedule: Full time | Monday to Saturday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to individuals, families, and businesses across the United States and globally. Our seasoned professionals have a track record of delivering positive outcomes in even the most challenging cases. Roles and Responsibilities
- Drafting forms and affidavits in support, and interactions with the USCIS, regularly to keep the cases updated and active.
- To handle Family-based petitions, Bankruptcy, Divorce, Immigration, VAWA, and Asylum cases.
- Communicating advice about all matters of Family-based petitions, Bankruptcy, Divorce, Immigration, VAWA, and Asylum matters with internal attorneys.
- Explaining available courses of action and possible repercussions of cases to clients.
- Addressing the client's concerns regarding deportation and termination, and handling case terminologies.
- Communicating with clients to learn about their legal needs and concerns.
- Write case notes and reports.
- Preparing forms and completing the packets.
- Preparing the clients for interviews.
- Attending daily team meetings.
- Auditing court and firm calendars etc
- The Firm may also add other duties within the reasonable scope of the Service Provider's work and other general duties related to the growth of the firm Qualifications
- Litigation skills(3 years Plus)
- Legal Document Preparation
- Analytical Skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in Immigration cases will be an advantage
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
