Job Title: Quality Executive – Hospital Department: Quality Management / Quality Assurance Reports to: Quality Manager Location: Angamaly ⸻ Job Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and improving quality and patient safety programs within the hospital. The role ensures compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to enhance patient care outcomes and organizational performance. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Management System
- Develop, implement, and maintain hospital quality management systems.
- Monitor quality indicators and performance metrics.
- Coordinate quality improvement initiatives across departments.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical protocols. 2. Accreditation & Compliance
- Prepare the hospital for national and international accreditation (e.g., NABH, JCI, ISO).
- Conduct internal audits and gap analyses.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and inspections. 3. Patient Safety
- Implement patient safety programs and risk management strategies.
- Monitor incident reporting systems and analyze trends.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. 4. Training & Education
- Conduct quality and patient safety training for staff.
- Organize workshops and awareness programs.
- Guide departments in quality documentation and standardization. 5. Data Management & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and present quality data to leadership.
- Prepare monthly quality dashboards and reports.
- Track clinical and non-clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Benchmark hospital performance against industry standards. 6. Process Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement in clinical and administrative processes.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary quality improvement projects. 7. Patient Experience
- Monitor patient feedback and satisfaction surveys.
- Address complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Work with departments to enhance patient-centered care. ⸻ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- Master’s degree in Hospital Administration / Quality Management preferred
- Certification:
- NABH / JCI / ISO Quality Certification (preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt (desirable)
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hospital quality management ⸻ Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of hospital accreditation standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of clinical audit processes
