- 40000 (Additional Benefits) Job Summary The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing construction and infrastructure projects related to residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate developments. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for real estate construction projects.
- Review architectural plans and ensure structural feasibility.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Monitor progress and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Ensure construction materials and workmanship meet required quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of construction work.
- Maintain quality assurance documentation.
- Estimate quantities of materials and resources required.
- Monitor project expenses and assist in cost control.
- Coordinate procurement of construction materials.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures at construction sites.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from authorities.
- Work closely with architects, consultants, surveyors, and project managers.
- Prepare progress reports, site reports, and documentation.
- Address technical issues and provide engineering solutions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech Civil).
- Skilled certifications or licenses are an added advantage.
- Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and structural design principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software.
- Strong project management and site supervision skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills. Experience
- 2–5 years experience in construction or real estate development projects.
- Experience in residential or commercial building projects preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
