Video Editor Position Overview A Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with brand messaging and project objectives. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social media, websites, ads, and marketing campaigns
- Trim, cut, and sequence clips to improve flow and storytelling
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, transitions, and graphics
- Color correction and color grading
- Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects when required
- Collaborate with marketing teams, content creators, and clients
- Ensure final videos meet brand guidelines and project deadlines
- Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics tools
- Strong storytelling and visual composition skills
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings
- Positive time management and ability to meet deadlines
