Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role for a Store Incharge based in Tiruchendur. The Store Incharge will be responsible for managing daily operations and inventory of the store, maintaining accurate records, supervising stock levels, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and coordinating with various departments to meet their requirements. The role includes ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards and overseeing the proper storage, distribution, and reconciliation of materials.

Qualifications

Inventory Management: Solid ability to maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and implement effective inventory control practices.

Procurement and Supply Chain: Proficiency in coordinating material purchases, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of required items.

Organizational and Supervisory Skills: Capable of efficiently organizing store operations and supervising staff for seamless functioning.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in inspecting materials and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment and materials handling, particularly within industries such as Power, Steel, Mining, or EPC projects, will be advantageous.

Proficiency in software applications: Experience with inventory or ERP systems will be considered a strong asset.

Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
