Production Manager (Waluj)

Job Description


- Plan, manage, and monitor daily production activities for electrical control panels, power electronics, and related systems

- Ensure production targets are achieved within quality, cost, and delivery timelines

- Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, QA/QC, and project teams for smooth execution

- Supervise assembly, wiring, testing, and dispatch activities

- Implement production planning and resource allocation to optimize productivity

- Monitor material utilization, WIP, and inventory to reduce wastage and downtime

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and ISO processes

- Handle manpower planning, shift management, and team performance monitoring

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and process efficiency

- Maintain production reports, MIS, and documentation

- Support new product development and prototype manufacturing activities

- Ensure timely resolution of shop-floor technical and operational issues

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

- 5–10 years of experience in production/manufacturing of electrical control panels, power electronics, or automation systems

- Strong knowledge of LT panels, rectifiers, control systems, and industrial electrical assemblies

- Experience in production planning, shop-floor management, and process improvement

- Knowledge of electrical drawings, BOMs, wiring standards, and testing procedures

- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and safety practices

- Hands-on experience with production coordination and manpower handling

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict delivery schedules

- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and production reporting tools

- Experience in defense/industrial projects will be an added advantage.
