Quality Inspector (Ambegaon BK)

Quality Inspector Position: Quality Inspector Department: Quality Reports To: Quality In-charge Job Purpose To ensure that all heat-treated components comply with customer specifications, drawing requirements, process parameters, and internal quality standards. The role is responsible for inspection, testing, documentation, traceability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the heat treatment process.
- Perform hardness testing using Rockwell / Brinell / Vickers methods as per specification.
- Verify surface hardness and core hardness as per customer drawing.
- Maintain daily inspection and testing records.
- Record hardness values, case depth results, batch numbers, furnace parameters, and operator details.
- Identify non-conforming products during inspection.
- Segregate rejected material and label properly.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Provide inspection records and reports during customer audits Required Skills
- Knowledge of hardness testing methods (HRC, HRB, BHN, VHN).
- Basic understanding of heat treatment processes (Carburizing, Hardening, Tempering, Annealing, etc.).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of ISO documentation.
- Valuable observation and analytical skills. Pay: ₹14,000.00
