Production Manager (Aurangabad)

- Production Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory to ensure efficient production to meet 95% of planned capacity on peak days
- Develop and implement production schedules and strategies to meet customer demands.
- Coordinate with logistics team ensure timely dispatch of FG to customers
- Monitor production quality, perform quality checks for sample products on daily basis and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
- Ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Store management:
- Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management for all RM and FG
- Ensure regular count audits for sample parts
- Maintain inventory with defect rate less than 0.1%
- Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers, supervisors, and other staff.
- Hire, train, and evaluate employees to ensure they meet company standards and performance goals.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage shift schedules and resolve any staffing issues.
- Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring costs are controlled without compromising product quality.
- Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures, including material usage, labor efficiency, and equipment maintenance.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including OSHA or other relevant standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working setting, ensuring all employees follow safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety audits and take corrective action when necessary.
- Maintenance & Equipment Management:
- Develop and adhere to AM/PM schedule for all tools, equipment and machinery at the factory.
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
- Work with maintenance teams to schedule routine inspections and repairs, ensuring that the factory remains fully operational.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, quality, and labor costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, production, and quality control data.
- Customer Satisfaction & Quality Control:
