Job DescriptionAM/DM – Project Billing (Interior Fit-Out)Job Summary We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced professional for the role of AM/DM – Project Billing specializing in Interior Fit-Out Projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing project billing activities, quantity surveying, cost monitoring, and coordination with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in billing processes, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and project cost control within corporate office, retail, hospitality, or healthcare interior projects. Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Documentation
- Prepare and submit Client RA (Running Account) Bills based on project progress and work completion status.
- Verify, review, and process contractor and vendor bills for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain systematic billing records, supporting documents, and project-related financial documentation.
- Coordinate with site and project teams to validate executed work quantities and billing milestones.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up of invoices for approvals and payments. Quantity Surveying
- Prepare quantity take-offs from BOQ, GFC drawings, and other project documents.
- Develop, review, and validate BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Monitor project variations, additional scope items, and deviations from approved quantities.
- Evaluate and track extra items, change orders, and variation claims. Cost Control & Monitoring
- Track project costs against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
- Assist in project cost estimation, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Identify discrepancies in billing and quantities and implement corrective measures.
- Support cost optimization initiatives without compromising project quality. Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Accounts teams.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for bill certification and approvals.
- Support internal audits, MIS reporting, and management reviews.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, billing procedures, and project timelines. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and project billing procedures.
- Hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity estimation tools.
- Good understanding of contracts, tender documents, and project commercial terms.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under strict deadlines. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. Preferred Experience
- Experience in corporate office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with systems or billing software will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling client billing and contractor reconciliation for turnkey interior projects. Additional Requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy in billing and quantity verification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project workplace.
- Strong ownership mindset and commitment to timely deliverables.
- Capable of handling project commercial activities independently. Experience Range
- Preferred Experience: 5–12 Years in Interior Fit-Out / Turnkey Projects. Pay: ₹40,000.00
