Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Commis I Tandoor to join our culinary team in Gurugram, India. In this entry-level kitchen position, you will work under the guidance of experienced chefs to prepare authentic tandoori dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. - Prepare tandoori dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring proper temperature control and consistent cooking results
- Perform mise en place duties at the tandoor station, organizing and preparing all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating of tandoori specialties
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment
- Support the overall kitchen operations to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
- Clean and sanitize the tandoor station, cooking equipment, and work surfaces according to organizational standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to meet service demands and maintain quality consistency
- Follow all food safety regulations and organizational procedures Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and Indian cuisine
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment
