Senior Accountant (Automotive Industry) Position: Senior Accountant Industry: Automotive / Automobile Showroom Location: Swastik Motocorp Company: Maruti Suzuki ARENA – Swastik Motocorp Experience Required: 5–10 Years Preferred Background: Candidate must have experience in Maruti Suzuki dealership/showroom or any automobile showroom/dealership. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in the automotive industry, preferably from a Maruti Suzuki dealership or any automobile showroom. The candidate will be responsible for handling complete accounting operations, dealership accounting, taxation, MIS reporting, and financial compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete showroom accounting and financial operations.
- Handle daily accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and reconciliation reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Handle bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and customer accounts.
- Monitor vehicle billing, stock accounting, and retail finance documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records of cash flow, payments, and receivables.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and dealership accounting standards.
- Supervise junior accountants and accounts assistants.
- Work on ERP/Tally and dealership management software (DMS). Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Experience in automobile dealership accounting.
- Positive understanding of inventory and vehicle accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage audits and statutory compliance independently. Preferred Candidate Profile
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance.
- Experience in Maruti Suzuki dealership or any automotive showroom preferred.
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions and dealership operations.
