On-Premise DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer (Golpark)

We are looking for a On-Premise DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in RHEL-based systems, secure networking, and performance-sensitive on-premise infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on managing low-latency, high-throughput systems, secure access, and highly reliable on-prem environments. The role requires strong fundamentals in Linux internals, networking, automation, and identity management, with a strong emphasis on stability, security, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities Linux & On-Prem Infrastructure
- Administer, harden, and optimize RHEL-based servers (bare metal and virtualized)
- Perform OS-level tuning for performance-sensitive workloads, including:
- CPU pinning and scheduler tuning
- NUMA-aware memory configuration
- IRQ affinity and interrupt balancing
- Disk and network I/O optimization
- Manage OS lifecycle, patching, upgrades, and rollback mechanisms
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and predictable system behavior DevOps, Automation & CI/CD
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for on-prem environments
- Automate configuration and deployments using Ansible
- Enforce configuration consistency and controlled change management
- Build reliable deployment, validation, and rollback processes Secure Networking & VPN
- Configure and manage secure VPN connectivity (site-to-site and client-based)
- Implement network segmentation, firewall policies, and access controls
- Monitor and troubleshoot network latency, jitter, and packet loss
- Work with encryption, key rotation, and secure tunnel configurations Identity, Access & Directory Services
- Manage centralized authentication and authorization using FreeIPA / LDAP
- Integrate on-prem identity systems with Google Workspace (Google Directory)
- Identity synchronization and federation
- User lifecycle and access policy management
- Manage certificates, keys, and secure authentication mechanisms Messaging & Platform Services
- Configure and operate Apache Kafka in production environments
- Broker configuration and tuning
- Topic management and access controls
- TLS, ACLs, and authentication
- Ensure predictable throughput and system stability under load Security, Stability & Operations
- Apply OS, network, and application-level security best practices
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and operational risks Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)
- Strong experience with on-premise infrastructure
- Proven expertise in:
- Secure VPN configuration and management
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
- Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories)
- FreeIPA / LDAP
- Kafka configuration and tuning
- OS patching and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of Linux internals and networking fundamentals
- Ability to troubleshoot performance and latency-sensitive systems Strongly Preferred (Implicit Performance Signal) Experience with:
- Kernel tuning and sysctl parameters
- NUMA architectures and CPU affinity
- Low-latency networking and NIC tuning
- Time synchronization (NTP / PTP)
- Experience working on bare-metal performance optimization Nice-to-Have
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
